Bike Crash

This week’s stories:   We had zone conference.  Everyone, go on to lds.org and go to the Christmas initiative. It is called 25 ways in 25 days, so yeah, now to the other stuff.   On Saturday, we were coming home from a baptism and coming up a hill to go home, and there was a motorcycle crash.  We helped out the guy that had the crash, and we bandaged up his leg.  It was very badly cut and bloody, so I will leave it there.  So life is good and we do a lot of help for people.

The Week of Weeks! ... or not really ...

[from 11/14/16]

So this week was an uneventful one:  Nothing really happened, but Elder Ludlow and I are still companions for the next 6 weeks, and we now have 3 people on date for baptism, so!!! that is awesome.

About the pictures:  During this week there was a kitty at one of our investigators houses. Yep, it was Elder Palmer’s birthday this Sunday, and so we celebrated with the traditional flouring, so see the pic with the sparkling cider!

Week Whatever it is ...

[from 11/07/16]

So yep yep, it is that time again for the adventures of Elder Smith!!

So this week was awesome.  One of the sister missionaries’ investigators got baptized, and the guy is way cool.  He wants to go on a mission, and speaking of a mission, a branch member named Zack got his mission call! He is going to the DR (Dominican Republic)! (He will be the tallest elder in the MTC and probably the mission.  He is like 6’ 10” or something. He is tall but he is one of the coolest guys ever!

So in my life, the story of the week is that the branch had an international day of service, and it was awesome.  We beautified a special needs school and the place looks nice ;)

So life is good and time is always going by really fast. This past week, I already hit my 3-month mark! Life is moving fast.

Take care everyone,

Also, the scripture of the week is Alma 7:11-15

So we have been cleaning up someone’s house for them because a molitove (homemade) bomb was throw in a while ago, so lots of scrubbing and stuff! So we have been very busy this whole week, so busy is always good, and this week is my 3 month mark! Time has passed so fast! Sorry the email is short but time flies by!

Ants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[from October 24]

So story of the life of Elder Smith!
So my companion Elder Ludlow and I biked for a hour all the way to this place called Vere to meet a refereal out there. The meeting was awesome:  she was super excited when we gave her her own copy of the Book of Mormon! On top of all that, she had a bit of an ant problem at her place so ... yeah, I leaned my bike up on a 55-gallon barrel out just outside the house (and we met outside:  most lessons in Jamaica are outside for y'all’s info), so I thought nothing of it. When we were leaving my bike's left handle was 100% covered with the ants just going crazy! I wacked about a few hundred off before Elder Ludlow and I thought to take a picture, but we did it, anyway. The camera doesn't do it justice for how many ants there were.  Well, that’s the story of the week this week. Until next week for ya'll.  Have a wonderful week!
Yours Truly,
Elder Nate Smith :)
